Angela Chatham


Angela Angela Chatham is an active member of the Churches Together in Shifnal and District, as well as attending her local church in the Six Parishes. She has been involved in youth work for over 20 years and is currently a volunteer in the SAY YES Youth Clubs. She trained as a primary school teacher and is a partner in the family organic dairy farm. Angela is married, with two grown up children and loves to keep up with the antics of the grandchildren. She thrives on being in the thick of it and loves to work in a team.

The Revd Preb Chris Thorpe

Karen The Revd Preb Chris Thorpe Chris is Vicar of Shifnal, Sheriffhales and Tong, and was a founder member of the Say Yes project, and has been a trustee throughout. He has experience of running youth projects over the past thirty years In Letchworth, building a new Youth Centre, and community youth work by local volunteers. In Walsall, setting up projects linked with Local Schools, and employing a School's Outreach worker, and local church based Kid's Care project. In Wolverhampton, setting up Performing Arts youth projects, a Youth Choir, and employment projects for young unemployed people, employing a range of youth workers and volunteers.

Mark Williams

Chris Walker Mark Williams is very experienced in youth work and has a passion to see young people reach their potential and to exceed their own expectations for who they can become. He is a committed christian with a desire to see the good news of Jesus told in relevant and understandable ways to people of all ages. He lives in Highley with his wife and two young children, enjoys sport and comedy, has been in numerous pantomimes (only once as the dame!) and is a supporter of Portsmouth Football Club.


Rita Hendry

Rita has been working with children and young people at the church since 2008 when her husband was posted as a Minister to Trinity Church Totton in Southampton. She was also a volunteer classroom Assistant while doing a Teaching Assistant course as well as listening to children's reading at a nearby school. Since moving to Shifnal, Rita has been a volunteer at the Say YES Youth Club supporting the young people with the various activities planned for each school term.


Revd Charlotte Cheshire


Charlotte is the Curate of St Andrew's Shifnal, St Mary's Sheriffhales and St Bartholomew's, Tong. She is married with two children and serves as Line Manager to our Youth Worker and Safeguarding Officer for the charity. "She enjoys reading, tennis and blogging and is passionate about inclusion of those with disabilities. Chris Walker

Chris Walker is Finance Director and shareholder of a privately owned precision engineering group based in Shropshire. He has lived in the Six Parishes for over twenty-five years with his wife Norma and has two black Labrador dogs who he says are very spoilt. Chris, as well as being SAYYES Treasurer, is involved with other voluntary work locally. He is a member of the Parish Pastoral Council of St Mary’s, Shifnal and St Joseph’s, Albrighton. He enjoys watching most sports and is a lifelong supporter of Wolverhampton Wanderers Football Club.


Tim Bradshaw

Tim is a Company Director, Communicant and PCC member at St Mary Magdalene, Albrighton. His main interests are family and reading.
